Chris and I are finally lifting the covers on Docoloco. We’ve been running with friends and family for a few months and we’ve made that first set of crucial changes and now it’s time to start talking about what we’re up to.

Here’s a run down on a few of the new features of the site.

• Now you can follow your favorite Docoloco members. For example I follow Chris because Chris has good taste and we send a lot of time in the same neighbourhoods so his recommendations are pretty relevant to me.

• You can also follow local areas. I follow a bunch of these including Richmond, VIC, Australia which is where we have our offices. I get all the recommendations people make in the area in my feed and weekly email. SO I always know about the best places for lunch, coffee and beer. Nice.

• I’ve also started following lists. I follow “burritos near San Francisco” because I only get to the Bay Area occasionally these days and a top notch burrito is usually the first stop after I touch down. Good to stay up with where the quality is.

• Finally, I follow Docoloco’s business page. That way, I’m notified if anyone has anything to say about us.

There was more to the release but we’re pretty excited about the “follow” stuff. We’ve been using it at Docoloco HQ for a little while now and it’s a great way of staying on top of what matters to you.
