Chris Mander and Johnny Cussen met at LookSmart Australia. Chris was pushing pixels and Johnny was doing business. They discovered that they shared a love for a new generation of Web products that was beginning to emerge. These products put their members at the centre of the universe and were setting a new standard for online experiences. After LookSmart Johnny went off to work for a large Yellow Pages company and Chris started an advertising agency. But whenever they caught up they’d find themselves talking about what was wrong with local search. So they started Humbuckers to build some solutions and do something to engage local businesses in a conversation with their customers. While they build up Docoloco and look for a way to pay some people salaries:
They both do vision and ethos. |
